Ever struggled to get bowls of hot food out of a microwave oven? How many times have you lifted bowls up and dunked your towel in the soup you’ve just heated up?
These bowl cosies are designed to help lift bowls of hot food out of microwave ovens. Place the bowl containing the food you want to heat up into the bowl cosy and place both the bowl cosy and bowl into the microwave. Heat for required time. By holding two diagonally opposite corners of the bowl cosy, lift the hot bowl of food easily out of the microwave. The bowl cosy will help protect your hands from excessive heat. Be aware that if during cooking food/liquid breaches the top of the bowl and spills onto the bowl cosy it may not provide the same protection.

The bowl cosies are made from 100% cotton fabrics with a wool blend wadding as an insulating layer. They are approximately 19cms square and 25cms on the diagonal and are sized to be used with cereal/soup bowls and glass baking bowls.

Use the bowl cosy to protect your hands (or knees, if cuddling up on the couch!) whilst enjoying your soup etc. These bowl cosies can also be used to protect your hands whilst eating a bowl of ice cream!
